Dancing Santa thrills in Manila

A dancing traffic officer in a Father Christmas costume has been entertaining motorists in Manila.

Ramiro Hinojas, 55, uses moves copied from Michael Jackson to help keep the Philippine capital's notoriously gridlocked roads moving.

His sleek moves have made him a minor celebrity and a champion for the country's lowly paid traffic force.

"It gives me joy to see people happy while they're stuck in traffic, because I know how the rush hour can make anyone crazy," he said.

Commuters show their appreciation by honking their horns, as he wiggles his bottom and pirouettes to pull in oncoming traffic.
