Cayman National Corporation Ltd. has appointed two directors to replace board members who plan to retire within the year. The recruits, installed at the bank’s AGM, are Bryan Hunter, a partner at law firm Appleby, and Jude Scott, a retired accountant, formerly of Ernst & Young.
They are to replace chairman Benson Ebanks, a founding director and shareholder with the bank since incorporation in 1974, and David Trimble, who joined the board in 1984.
The decision on who will replace Mr. Ebanks as chairman won’t be made until he retires at the next AGM, a year from now. Mr. Trimble steps down this year.
