Business Pods
The Chamber has always been a Champion of small business. Our Governors Square location has allowed us to be more hands-on with this endeavour and for the first time we are able to offer Business Pods for qualifying start-up businesses. At $500 a month you receive your own private office space, the benefit of plenty of parking, a professional receptionist to greet your clients and welcome them to your place of business, use of a small meeting room and the option to book our large conference room facility complete with presentation equipment and refreshments for only $20 an hour. A state-of-the-art colour printer is also available for use and will be charged per copy at cost. Of course the normal amenities of restrooms and kitchen are also available for use and utilities are included.

Meeting Space
For small businesses that may have their own office space but don’t necessarily have all the bells and whistles yet, we have two professional meeting spaces that can be rented out at $20 an hour. The larger of the two, which accommodates up to 80 people (but doesn’t feel too big if you only need it for a small meeting), is an excellent space for a product launch, press briefing, reception, lunch meeting or a number of other types of functions. In this modern room filled with natural light you will have at your disposal a wall mounted LCD screen for your power point or video presentation, tables and chairs for 54 people, use of coffee and tea making facilities and restrooms. Catering is also available just two doors away or you can bring in a caterer of your choice. This space is also available on weekends. During normal working hours, our receptionist will be pleased to welcome your guests and make sure you have everything you need for a successful event or meeting.

Sponsoring the Chamber weekly e-newsletter is another great way to get your message out to over 4,000 email addresses within our membership database, or why not host a Business After Hours event? Business After Hours is an excellent way to bring hundreds of Chamber members to your place of business and introduce them to your products and services all in one go. Don’t have a big enough space? Not to worry – you can hold it at the Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Centre. Our staff will help guide you on the best way to present yourself to make the most out of this unique marketing event.
