Amid enormous political and economic uncertainties Cayman’s captive industry has been extremely successful in attracting new captives, a record number of delegates heard at the 2011 Cayman Captive Forum. The Mourant Ozannes International Trusts conference followed the day in the life of a trustee and the issues that may come up with regard to information requests from beneficiaries and tax authorities, confidentiality rules, financial management and in negotiations with trust protectors, as well as legal issues ... hedge funds, the Proceeds of Crime/Corruption Law, recent developments
regarding the US Patriot Act and on civil forfeiture and the compliance
implications. Globally, HIV/AIDS is the leading cause of death among women of
reproductive age. In the Caribbean, the development of HIV/AIDS has been
described as an “epidemic” in recent years. How can individuals and in

Conference 2010 . The 8th Financial Due Diligence Offshore Alert Conference was
recently held at The-Ritz Carlton, South Beach, in Miami Beach, Florida.

Marriott Hotel in Grand Cayman late last year to attend the one day
INSOL International Seminar. The Cayman Islands stands as a convenient whipping boy for onshore
jurisdictions who love to perpetuate the myth that the Cayman Islands is
a tax haven, according to the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority’s
Chairman George McCarthy speaking at last month’s International Funds
