Pouring the perfect pint is a matter of pride for any establishment worth its salt. The Cayman Islands Brewery’s new Gold Member programme aims to help local establishments pour the perfect pint by training the staff and showing them what goes into making the beer.

The Brick House was the first establishment to participate in the programme.

“Pouring the perfect pint is extremely important to us. It shows our dedication to customer service and providing the best product possible,” says manager John Mack.

The Gold Member programme involves a brewery tour that helped Brick House staff gain an appreciation for what goes into the beer they serve.

“Every attendee came away with a great respect for the brewing process and the employees who make it happen. Now the staff is eager to sell Caybrew products because they can tell the customer what happens in every step of the brewing process,” John says.

The product knowledge gained through the training also helps the staff at Brick House when it comes to explaining to customers what makes Caybrew special.

“Knowing all of the hard work that goes into making beer at Caybrew helps our servers share in the pride that Caybrew employees feel. They now also have the product knowledge to know why Caybrew is such a top quality beer,” says John.

The Brick House is a casual, family friendly restaurant with a menu focus on its brick oven pizzas. Located in the Shoppes at Grand Harbour, beside the Black Pearl Skate and Surf Park, it is part of the Our House Cayman restaurant family.

“Caybrew is important to our restaurants because it not only fits in to our company policy of serving the highest quality products, but it also shows our investment in the community through our support of a locally produced beer and lastly it shows our commitment to going green by supporting Caybrew’s recycling programme,” says John.   WH
