Main Story:

Trevor Amodeo of Sunset Divers

Ghost Mountain.  Boat Dive, North Side

The pin is in 60ft of water. Once you reach the pin, head out in a seaward direction and suddenly, out of the mist, you’ll see a huge pinnacle appear before you. This is not a particularly taxing dive, as you spend your time spiralling around the pinnacle at your leisure looking for marine life. There are soft sponges, lots of coral and many varieties of fish to be found here. You may also see reef sharks, eagle rays and lobster, so keep your eyes peeled. Maximum depth is about 100ft. Don’t forget your safety stop.

Tarpon Alley.  Boat Dive, North Side

The pin is in 50ft of water. Head seaward which takes you off the wall. Go along the wall and check out the nooks, crannies and gullies as you swim. This is a very good dive for spotting the bigger stuff like sharks and rays. Expect to find eels along the top of the wall as you make your way back to the pin and the boat. Funnily enough, despite the name, you will not always find tarpon here. Maximum depth is 100ft so remember your safety stop before you finish your ascent.
