As you might expect, The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman is a heaven for foodies, with no less than seven distinct and often extraordinary restaurants to choose from.
 
Blue
Blue by Eric Ripert is Grand Cayman’s only AAA Five Diamond restaurant. It’s where local, responsibly caught fish are treated with great respect and freshness and quality are paramount. Blue by Eric Ripert offers a three course prix fixe menu as well as two six course tasting menus. There’s a lounge atmosphere and indoor and outdoor dining, plus private rooms.
 
Insider tip: Try the Tuna Foie Gras, featuring layers of thinly pounded yellowfin tuna, foie gras and toasted baguette with shaved chives

7 Restaurant
7 Restaurant is elegant and Caribbean-flavoured. Overlooking Seven Mile Beach, it serves a daily a la carte breakfast as well as an extensive buffet. It offers light lunchtime dishes including a three course tasting lunch with wine pairing, and a grandiose Sunday buffet completes the line-up. Every Wednesday morning during breakfast hours, 7 Restaurant features special guest SpongeBob SquarePants.

7 Prime Cuts & Sunsets
The island-tinged menu of 7 Prime Cuts & Sunsets helped it attain a AAA Four Diamond rating, It features oceanfront cabana dinners and weekly Uncorked Friday wine nights with 50 per cent off each of the 300 wines on the menu.
 
Insider tip: The Filet Mignon showcases just what a great steak can be.

Periwinkle
For Mediterranean freshness, the al fresco grill of Periwinkle is the perfect destination.
 
The location on the waterways complements the menu perfectly, whether you opt for pizza, pasta or any of the other fresh options.
There’s nightly tarpon feeding at 5pm, and you can enjoy nightly family friendly movies shown on the big screen under the starry sky nightly at 7pm. It’s also accessible by boat.
 
Insider tip: The Parmesan Truffle French Fries must be experienced to be believed.

Taikun
Sushi restaurant Taikun features real wasabi grated tableside, the Island’s largest sake selection and an unconventional Riesling wine pairing flight. On Fridays and Saturdays Taikun serves sushi until midnight.

Barjack
Named for the silver reef fish, Barjack is situated at the widest stretch of the beach. Caribbean favourites come from the Chef’s grill and happy hour is between 5pm and 8pm. Every Wednesday evening there’s entertainment from a steel pan band. Try the Kobe beefburger for an outstanding take on the fast food staple, and wash it down with a Pina Colada.

Silver Palm Lounge
Silver Palm is all about light fare, snacks and appetisers to accompany classic cocktails and adventurous mojitos, Cuban cigars, tapas and paninis. A DJ smooths it up with entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings, and the afternoon tea brings teas from around the world for a time honoured tradition.
