Electronic Spy Camera Shirt “It’s what 007 wears on his laundry day.” - www.thinkgeek.com
I’m not sure James Bond would be caught dead wearing this shirt (especially since his enemies can’t aim properly), but for the budding amateur spy along comes the Spy Camera Shirt. I can’t think of a better place to put a mini camera capable of 640x480 resolution than hidden in an illustration of James Bond taking a picture. Perhaps you need pictures of your boss in compromising situations for that ‘retirement plan’, or just feel like being a generally creepy voyeur – the possibilities are endless. If you choose to accept this mission your cost will be US39.99. This issue of What’s Hot will self destruct in 10 seconds.
Sony LCD’s with Google TV With the advent of NetFlix, Hulu, and most networks showing full episodes of their shows online, Google has decided they want to combine it all in one place and bring internet to your living room once again (without going through a laptop, iPad, iPhone or the many other portable internet ready devices). Google TV plans to integrate all available video – cable, satellite, antenna or internet all on one screen.
Some may remember Microsoft attempting to do this by offering internet on your television using a remote to scour the web; it didn’t turn out so well. Now may be a different story however due to higher bandwidth availability and wireless technologies. There are a lot of internet to TV applications out there that can stream through gaming consoles, but with Google and Sony powering together on this, how could it not succeed? The sets range from 24” to 46”.
Energizer iPhone 4 case How long do you think you can go without checking your cell phone, honestly? With Energizer’s AP1201 iPhone case you will now be able to get in more texting, Facebook poking, and watching of people falling down on YouTube before having to recharge. It is fairly lightweight and thin, but also packs a rechargeable battery (up to 500 recharges). It’s made out of a hard plastic and silicon rubber for those “oh no, my phone!” moments.
The claims are that you will get 7 hours extra video and internet and 4.8 hours extra talk time (who talks anymore?) essentially doubling the iPhone 4’s normal battery life. Now if only they can invent a phone that feeds off the energy human beings produce we’ll be wired for life.
