Even though it is a relative newcomer to the scene, Tiki Beach needs little introduction. The open, airy tiki bar right on a prime stretch of Seven Mile Beach has already firmly established itself among locals and tourists alike looking for the ultimate beach bar experience.

The combination of cool breezes, white sands and a wide selection of signature drinks from all over the Caribbean make it a great spot to sit back and watch the world go by. Add the tropical island grill cuisine, and it becomes a spot where you can truly spend the day. It is therefore no surprise to find Caybrew on tap here.

According to manager Valentino Salvi, it is very important to have a local product like Caybrew, especially for the tourists who want to try a local beer. As far as he is concerned, knowing as much as possible about the beer and how it is made is a vital part of the work of any bartender. Which is exactly where the Cayman Islands Brewery’s Gold Member programme comes into play.

“I see every bartender as an ambassador of this country. They need to know the culture of this country, they need to know the products that are offered in this country,” says Valentino.

“You know, most of the tourists are from the States, and some of them have never been to the Cayman Islands so they don’t know about our rums or our beers. Caybrew has established itself as one of the leading beer names around the Caribbean and it’s a fantastic product,” says Valentino.

The ever-growing line-up of beers has also found favour, not only with the tourists, but also with Valentino.

“They’ve just added a new product, the Ironshore Bock. It is one of my favourite beers, I drink it all the time. It has a full body, and that’s what I like in a beer.”
