The Red Parrot restaurant at the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort is showcasing their wonderfully simple, delectably authentic tastes of Italian cuisine for Culinary Month.
Styled in contemporary decor, Red Parrot’s chef will bring the warm restaurant environment to the Taste of Cayman booth this year, but that’s just the start.
“We are going to fly in our own fresh buffalo mozzarella from Napoli,” says the Marriott’s Executive Chef, Anthony Le Pape. “It’s going to be fantastic.”
Red Parrot will be serving a delicious caprese salad to go along with the mouth-watering star of the show, a slow-braised short rib with gremolata sauce.
“We will be trying to bring the essence of our restaurant to the Taste of Cayman,” Anthony says. “Nothing fancy, just a great product. The less we touch it, the better it is for us.”
Red Parrot serves authentic Italian cuisine in the medium price range, with appetizers in the $8 to $12 range, and pasta entrees for $12 to $20.
