The Rotary Club of Grand Cayman and the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman will present a three day showcase of music featuring local and international artists performing Broadway, Jazz and Gospel.

A Celebration of Music will kick off on Thursday 10 March with Broadway under the Stars, featuring tenor Greg Rolph and soprano Maria Antúnez.

Greg has a range of Broadway credits to his name, including Joseph and the Broadway revival of West Side Story, where he played the lead role of Tony.

Maria recently sang the role of Flora in La Traviata with the Miami Lyric Opera and will shortly appear as Mimi in La Boheme with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.

The event will take place at 8pm on the Great Lawm at The Ritz-Carlton, with tickets available at $40.
On Saturday 12 March, fans of the smooth sounds of jazz can enjoy Jazz on the Green, featuring Chuck Holden and Gary Ebanks.

Chuck is renowned as the Maryland Jazz Ambassador, and grew up on the same street as famed saxophonist John Coltrane.

Gary needs no introduction in Cayman, having been a force on the Cayman jazz scene since the early 70s and still going strong.

The event will also take place on the Great Lawn at The Ritz-Carlton, starting at 8pm with tickets available for $40.

The final event on Sunday 13 March will be Gospel Brunch with Marvel Epps and Omar Walters.

Having performed with such greats as Bob Dylan, Chaka Khan, Dizzy Gillespe and David Bowie to name but a few, Marvel is an acclaimed singer, songwriter and actress, who debuted her Gospel Brunch at Lola Restaurant in New York.

Omar performs with popular local group Clarity, and has been singing gospel since he was a little kid.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will go towards the Telescope Project at UCCi with the aim of completing the construction of an observatory at the campus.
