Although many will indulge in the tradition of camping on the beach over the Easter long weekend, let’s just be honest and admit that camping on the beach just isn’t everybody’s cup of tea.

For those who would like to break away to the beach without forsaking all the creature comforts, the Reef Resort in East End will be running a number of Easter staycation specials.

The resort has over the years become a favourite getaway for those who spend their week running around George Town and feel that, come the weekend, or especially a long weekend, they need to break away and head somewhere where the pace is just a little bit slower and island time still prevails. Over the Easter long weekend, The Reef will be offering beachfront studios for two from US$179 per night, plus a 12 per cent service fee, or beachfront one bedroom condos which can sleep up to four from US$219 – perfect for families.

The weekend will include special events including an Easter egg hunt for the kids, with advance signup required, as well as an Easter feast at the Pelican’s Reef restaurant.

On top of that, the resort is offering a 10 per cent local discount at White Sands Water Sports as well as Le Soleil spa, which means your weekend can be as active or as relaxed as you want it to be.   WH
