On an island packed to the rafters with fine dining establishments, the Sunshine Grill is something a little bit different. Simple food, well prepared, and a perfect laid-back and family friendly atmosphere. The airy restaurant allows the tropical breezes to cool patrons, with a lot of tourists frequenting the spot, and not just from the Sunshine Suites where the property is located. According to Mike Dill, manager of the Sunshine Grill, the secret is quite simple - find your niche and do what you do well.

And they certainly do it well, as their consistently excellent ratings on Tripadvisor.com illustrate. In fact, it has been rated in the top two restaurants for the last three years- not bad considering the plethora of top shelf eating establishments around.

Of course, no Island experience would be complete without a taste of the local brew, which is why Mike says it is a no-brainer to have Caybrew on tap.

“I don’t know how you couldn’t have Caybrew on this Island. If you’re about what people want to experience on the Island, that is what they want. They want local stuff, and the beer’s good, it’s our number one selling beer by far,” says Mike.

“It is our best selling beer by far. You would have to put together our top six bottled beers to get even close,” he says.

According to Mike, what makes it even better is that even once the novelty factor of the local beer has worn off, people still faithfully order their Caybrew, as it is a really good beer.

Mike, like many in the business, have a personal affinity to Ironshore Bock, saying that it is a beer for the ‘beeries’ who really appreciate their brew.
