Ministry of Sound comes to Cayman

When it comes to clubbing, there is no bigger name than Ministry of Sound.

In January, Cayman’s party animals will have the opportunity to party with the best when the Ministry of Sound comes to Grand Cayman. In proper underground party fashion, the event won’t take place in one of the many clubs on the Island, rather heading for the Heineken warehouse on Shedden Road.

There could be no cooler setting for the official Ministry of Sound Warehouse Party.

The event will feature a heavy-hitting line-up of DJs, including Ministry of Sound World Tour resident DJ Paul Deighton, new up and coming house DJ Oli Furness, owner of Illusion Records Tom Craven, and Ministry of Sound resident and tour manager Martin 2 Smoove.

Paul Deighton is one of The Ministry of Sound International resident DJs and has toured the world representing the world famous brand, playing in Japan, India, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, South Korea, The Philippines, South Africa, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Russia, Canada, Italy, Spain, Germany, Ibiza... the list goes on, and includes the world famous Ministry of Sound in London.

Oli Furness crafts tracks designed for the floor, be it deep and raw or straight up and down music to make you party. Oli’s tracks reminisce over the origins of house whilst bringing them right up to date by using a mixture of old school production techniques and analogue hardware alongside today’s modern studio, forging a truly unique sound.

Tom Craven has been cutting his teeth as a solid UK house DJ crafting an intelligent, deep and classic sound of underground 90's house gems through to cutting edge modern deep house which has kept him on heavy rotation around the UKs most revered parties.

Martin 2 Smoove has played at established international venues including Es Paradis in Ibiza, Saxx in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Bon Bon in Shanghai, MJQ in Atlanta, Brut in Beirut, St Ives in Cape Town, Ministry of Sound's night 'Smoove' in Bahrain and Mix in Beijing. One key difference to most DJ's is that Martin is a natural promoter, and has been in club promotions for full time for over six years.

The official Ministry of Sound Warehouse Party will kick off at 8pm on 13 January, with the party going until the early hours of the morning.

Tickets are $15 for general admission, $20 for stage front, and $25 for VIP if purchased in advance, or $25 at the gate.

The event is sponsored by Jacques Scott, What’s Hot, Vibe FM and Spin FM.
